Teflon Belt Conveyors are generally preferred at the points where the temperature is very high and the product has sticking problems. Because Teflon Belt conveyors have the lowest distortion under microwaves, they are preferred in microwave applications. Teflon is also used in food applications. Due to the heat resistance up to 300˚C, it is preferred in furnace applications. Although rotation diameters of the belts, which are usually thin, are small, due to slickness of the belt drive system is specially designed.
